In the cauldron this morning......

It might be raining outside but it feels and smells like summer inside.

This mornings "brewing"  includes the new tea rose soap (cold process method).   Our new soap has a shade of pink (coloured using Madder Root no artificial colourings here).   Fabulous essential oils of Rosewood and Rose Otto have been used (a little indulgent I know).  I blend all of my own oils I do not use pre-blended fragrance oils (perish the thought!!).   I have added hints of essential oils of vanilla and bergamot.  Tiny rosebuds will adorn the top of the soap slices when ready.   Sadly this mornings creation will not be available for another six weeks or so.

Also this mornings makes include cocoa & murumuru butter (murumuru butter is high in Vitamin A and can help restore elasticity to skin) bath melts with monoi de tahiti (made from Gardenia Petals) and scattered with marshmallow petals.    Also made are heart shaped melts with relaxing Lavender.  Another batch of melts with myy personal favourite Neroli (and I have used Neroli Absolute here) and Geranium.   Neroli is very relaxing and seems to be becoming more popular than Lavender to calm and soothe the mind, particularly helpful before bed.  I love Geranium I find this a very "grounding" oil.

Hopefully my Folksy Shop will be open by the end of the week.  Keep checking.

That's all for this morning.   Taking mum for a hospital appointment this afternoon.
